High Speed Programmable Spot Illumination UGA-40 for Microscopy Applications

Overview
Scanning system UGA-40

Applications:
- FRAP
- Mapping of e.g. neural networks
- Release of caged compounds
- Drug Delivery
- Photobleaching
- Photoswitching
- Photoconverting
- Photoactivation
- FRET
- Laser ablations
Scanning system UGA-40
FeaturesIllumination of a small spot for e.g. FRAP and flash photolysis of caged compounds and simultaneous fluorescence excitation of the entire or partial field of view from a different light source. Because of its high speed it is also dedicated for input-mapping.

- spot size down to a few micrometers
- fast moveable spot positioning
- microcontroller operated
- easy programmable
- no modification of microscope
- uses microscope optics
- real-time-operation - "click and fire"-mode
- regions of interest (ROI) programmable
- available for many microscopes, e.g.:
Nikon: TE2000
Olympus: BX51, BX61, IX71, IX81
Zeiss: Axio Examiner, Axio Imager, Axio Observer, Axiovert 200
for other microscopes available soon. Please ask for more details.
